ChromoDB was born from the need to unify the vast but scattered world of plant chromosome data. For decades, this critical information has been spread across countless publications, often with incomplete or inconsistent references. Our project aims to solve this by creating a single, centralized, and meticulously curated database. We are a team of botanists and data scientists dedicated to building a reliable, accessible, and up-to-date resource for the global research community.

ChromoDB neix de la necessitat d'unificar el vast però dispers món de les dades cromosòmiques de plantes. Durant dècades, aquesta informació crítica ha estat repartida en incomptables publicacions, sovint amb referències incompletes o inconsistents. El nostre projecte vol solucionar aquest problema creant una única base de dades, centralitzada i meticulosament curada. Som un equip de botànics i científics de dades dedicats a construir un recurs fiable, accessible i actualitzat per a la comunitat investigadora global.
